Looking good so far.

I told you earlier that I made $25 with AdSense last year. After adding AdSense ads to one of my sites that was getting some traffic already and starting two new ones, my AdSense income for the first month of this year was $15.48 which comes down to $0.50 a day with only just over 800 pageviews a day. The income from these sites would add up to about $180 a year which is not much, but would very comfortably cover the yearly domain registration and hosting costs.
In February I started some more sites and changed the placement of ads a little on the existing sites, while the number of pageviews dropped down to about 500 a day the AdSense income went up to an average of $0.82 a day.
I have put a lot of time into the creation of websites lately and while the cash is not exactly comming in big time, things are certainly moving in the right direction!

please explain to me how the money is made from websites…
so is it simply that when people go on your site, and you have adsense, when they click on the ad, then you get money? but how does traffic play into this? is it the more people on your site you also make money? i just dont se where the money comes from

Yes, its exactly how you state: for each click on an ad the site owner showing the ad gets a little bit of money. The money comes from the people who want to show their own ads on other websites. The Google AdWords program is where you can pay to have your ads displayed on other websites. After you have paid your ad will be displayed in adsense, part of your payment goes to the website showing your ad and the rest goes to Google.
